The Historic Cottonwood Schoolhouse

This is the view to the South, but it's just as lovely in every direction !

The Cottonwood sign. 1926 pennies were initially placed in the center of each of the letters. Behind this sign sits the school bell ready for ringing. Children enjoy ringing this incessantly. Thankfully, the bottom of the pull cord is now over 6 feet from the ground!

These are just various pictures of the interior. It's definitely cozy with modern amenities (including central heat/air, dishwasher, etc. There are large sleeping quarters upstairs and downstairs (2 beds downstairs, 3 beds upstairs). The front doors on the wood stove also open for the opitimal enjoyment of the fire.
